5 Stars Excellent screen protector for iTouch
I normally wouldn’t take the time to post a review for an item so inexpensive, but I felt the need to do so in this case. I just bought my iTouch last week and this is its first screen protector so I can’t compare it to any other one. But, what I can say is that this screen protector was extremely easy to install. It did not leave any air bubbles on the screen. It had a clear protective plastic on each side of the screen protector. All I had to do was to peal off the first plastic protector (conveniently labeled #1). Place the screen protector on my iTouch and then remove the second plastic protector. You might think that the plastic protectors are trivial but they prevent you from scratching or smearing you screen protector during installation. The screen protector is very rigid and therefor feels very durable. Anyway, I was really impressed with this screen protector… oh and did I forget to mention that they shipped 3 in the bag for the price of $4+change. I was only expecting 1.

Note that this protector only cover the display portion, NOT the entire front side. The picture of this product is incorrect.

But it does the job. It is crystal clear and it does not affect performance of touch screen.

These screen protectors are great and you can get most if not all the bubbles out by following their instructions.

5 Stars I consider them a necessity.
Fairly easy to install, it only requires a steady hand. It doesn’t effect the sensitivity of the touch screen. The slightest touch still activates the screen. Cheap insurance to protect the screen of an expensive toy.

Definitely recommended.

1 Star Skimpy Protector - Not as Advertised
I bought a 3-pack of screen protectors from Eforcity (B000XHS4SK) in March’08.

For Apple iPod Touch 8GB 16GB Premium Ultra- Clear Reusable LCD Screen Protector with Lint Cleaning Cloth.

What they sent me is a different product, not as described in the listing. It is made by a company named Insten. It doesn’t cover the entire face of my iPod Touch, and it doesn’t have a hole for the Home button as illustrated in the Amazon listing. Instead, the protector barely covers the active display portion.

I e-mailed the vendor twice, seeking a replacement — they ignored my e-mails and failed to reply. It appears that Customer Service is not high on their priorities. Fortunately, Amazon’s A-to-Z guarantee filled the void. Way to go, Amazon!!

Note that there are a number of different IPT screen protectors available on Amazon, and the various pictures, descriptions, and links aren’t always consistent. Some appear to cover the entire front face; others do not. Caveat Emptor.
