User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Easy to install, it just works!
This BT transmitter was easy to pair with my Jabra BT headset. The sound was excellent, but the volume got cut down just a bit (couldn’t turn it loud if I wanted to). Also, the IPod Nano’s battery charge only last maybe 1/3 of what would have been with a plug-in earphone. But overall, this BT transmitter does what it claims it can do. I’m a satisfied customer!

4 Stars Works with 2nd gen ipod 32 gig itouch & Motorola S9 headphones!!
This adapter actually works with the new 2nd Gen ipod 32 gig itouch. I use motorola S9 headphones.

It does cut out occasionally. Seems to do it most when the battery power gets low on the headphones.

For the most part it works good.

5 Stars What Apple Makes Us Buy
Product Sony Bluetooth Wireless Transmitter for iPod (Black) is a fix for what Apple didn’t include in iPhones. For whatever reason, Apple hasn’t, but Sony has stepped in with this small Bluetooth Transmitter Adaptor to solve that problem, that will allow the iPhones and iPods to play wirelessly. You will need to buy bluetooth wireless headphones. After reading several reviews, I bought the Nokia BH-503 Nokia BH-503 Wireless Stereo Headset and they work well with the Sony adaptor. iPods work great, but with iPhone, you will have to fiddle and tweak to get the headphones to work all functions (see my review with the Nokia headphones for better explanation).

5 Stars For the itouch
If you have the itouch 2nd gen then you’ll love this transmitter. I have the 32 gig unit and was worried that the transmitter would’nt work, half the folks on the web said that it would not, but I tried it anyway, I used the motorola S9 headset, the track controls, volume and pause worked with no problems. as for the range , I’ve walked all thru my home and garage with no interuptions. now all i need is a belt case that will work with the doggle sticking out , I could just cut a 1 inch slot in the one that I’m using now. to start the transmitter all I did was charge the headset, hold the pwr button to turn on paring mode then plugin the transmitter into my itouch and started the music. the transmitter started flashing fast, then slowed to a steady flashing. I could hear the music but it keep breaking up , I then pressed the connect button on the transmitter and the music flowed smoothly and all was good!. 5 Stars Great Bluetooth Addition for your ipod
I was a little confused with all the products that were available in the market to do this job, (Enable my ipod to be bluetooth) But I went with my instincts as it was a Sony product, pay $30 more over a Jabra. Well it is perfect, I use this in my car with the Bluetooth enabled stereo, and it just works great, no problem with sound, I can even control music with the ipod and also the stereo( Play, Pause, Volume+/-, Next, Previous). Only thing it skips a couple of seconds until it synchronizes, but that is acceptable. Also it uses the power from the Ipod which means no hassles with extra wires, and the power consumed is minimal.

I have a Dell Bluetooth Headset, works fine with that too….

Only Draw back u cannot charge the ipod while u r using this item, unless u have a charger that goes into the audio jack of the Ipod. (Next on my list)

Great Product, Highly recommended!!!!
