5 Stars Fatman itube
This is an excellemt stereo. The instrction manual doesn’t say much but
hooking up the stero is pretty basic. It helps to know that you have to use
the remote to turn on the system which is not mentioned in the said manual.
The sound is great, excellent value for the price.
3 Stars Great product with faulty part, shoddy customer service
This is the best piece of audio equipment I’ve ever purchased, as became obvious from the moment I opened the thorough packaging and saw the white gloves included. It’s nicely designed, easy to use, and sounds great. However, the power supply for the iPod dock was faulty causing the power to cut out periodically. My email to Fatman asking what to do about this remains unanswered after 15 days. Rather than go through trying to return the whole 33 lb package to Amazon, and forsake the use of the beautiful product, I chose to replace the power supply at Radio Shack for about $10. I wish this first review could have been 5 stars, but it seems Fatman has some work to do first.
One other note: the product is shipped with a metal cage over the tubes that makes them much harder to see. It is easily removable, but you are warned that the tubes get hot and to leave the cage in place for your safety.

Very nice product, arrived in good shape.
Issues:
1. not compatible with iPhone
2. until I understood that the battery in the remote control was not functioning, the iPod dock did not function at all (solution: ship remote without battery pre-installed)
3. musically this product is adequate, no surprises in a form over function purchase
4. Remote battery needs to be replaced every few weeks

1. looks very cool
2. everything comes in 1 package (so with the exception of #2 above – you can everything you need)
3. you can easilly hook up unit to your computer on the alternate line in
I would now give it only 3 stars, I regret my purchase.

5 Stars Worth every penny…
I got the kvt-512 along with the kna-510 installed in my 06 TSX. So far, all is good and no real complaint. The unit is loaded with features and options so what you can do with it is limitless. I have this unit connect through my factory head unit but the sound is still pretty good. The dvd is nice and clear and the navi works great. The touch screen is very responsive as well. I really like the fact that it plays mp3s off of a dvd. It is also convenient that it comes with a usb port to play mp3s off of. You can buy a ipod adaptor but why when you can get a cheap usb drive to play your music out of. I have it connected to a 8 gig thumb drive(bought for like $15) that I perminantly keep on there since it is plenty to hold all of my music.
You have to touch the screen on a unmarked location to activate the menu control options which is something I need to get used to. So far…I am definitely enjoying my new toy.
