5 Stars Great Buy
Setting up and using the bridge is a snap. Rather than having to run cables from your iPod to your stereo’s input jacks, this device runs everything through the bottom connector. The display on the H-K receiver lets you perform the same functions you do on your iPod via the remote control, albeit using different. The sound is great running through my home theater system.

The conveneince of the “Bridge” is a great feature to compliment Harmon-Kardon receivers. The on screen videos allow you to watch videos, downloaded movies or tv shows. I definitely recommend getting the “Bridge” to ipods users that have HK receivers.

The Bridge works prefectly with my Harmon-Kardon receiver. Accepts my iPod just like the Apple Dock. The Bridge matches colors as the receiver.

5 Stars simple, convenient, great
I first read a few bad reviews, but after recieving and using the product I have nothing bad to say about it. The docking station has been perfect. There’s an on screen menu that is simple to use, set up just like your ipod. The sound quality is great, and the small sleek design looks nice sitting next to the receiver. I don’t know what some people where talking about when they gave this product a negative review because you can easily skim through artists, playlists, albums, or even do shuffle play. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a harmon kardon reciever.

1 Star Works Fine but Limited Function
The product works fine, but has limited functionality. I agree with the other reviews which state that navigation is a little difficult. To me, the sound is fine. It’s easy to set up and use. The fact that you can hook your iPod to your receiver is great. But what I don’t understand is why I can’t use the Bridge to access the video on my video iPod. After all, it links into a Harman Kardon audio-video receiver. The receivers handle a host of video inputs. It seems strange to say the least that the iPod’s video cannot be accessed and displayed. My recommendation is not to buy it. You can get video from your iPod onto your TV by using an RCA adapter cable available through Amazon for one cent (plus $5 shipping). While you cannot control your iPod through the receiver you get far more access to its content and greater control over its display. Surely some day we’ll get a product worth owning. This is not it.

1 Star Flaw in Design
I bought this product last year and it has seen very little use. The connector where the ipod plugs in became loose and now it won’t work. I’m trying to figure out how to fix it because it is hard to open up the unit. I’ve contacted the company about this but so far and they have not returned my e-mail. The unit sounded good for the price before it broke.

5 Stars Well worth the money
The Sonic Impact F2 portable speaker is awesome! This thing sounds great and seems very reliable and tough. The remote works great too. Definately worth the money. I did a lot of research on this product and what ppl said was true. There isn’t a better speaker system for the money. I actually bought this for my brother as a christmas present, who left for Iraq this month so it had to be tough and the case is! He has a 160GB. ipod and it fits perfectly in this system. It came with about a million dock adapters for any ipod and we found one that fit the 160 perfect. The system gets loud and has good bass. We actually hooked it up to his laptop too and watched a movie and the speakers sounded great there too. Only problem is there isn’t an adapter that the 160GB ipod fits in to fit in the storage compartment right. You just have to put the ipod in it and it bounces around some. Other than that, this thing rocks, literally!

5 Stars Surprisingly powerful.
I got this for my fiance as a rough-n-tumble music player that could be easily replaced so he could listen to music while he works (he works in construction).. It’s so nice, though, that he doesn’t want to take it anywhere. It’s powerful enough that it has completely replaced our home stereo. I wasn’t expecting it to be this nice, it was a very pleasant surprise.

4 Stars Great iPod Dock wth good sound
This iPod dock is great for a small room but is not as good for a bigger part type atmosphere. I am not sure why in other reviews people complain about the remote, but I found the remote very accessible and user friendly. The only thing this iDock can not do is play videos from the iPod, but even still the music is great for a small room. Finally the price is a bargain for the features.

The speaker quality is very poor and will occasionally make a humming sound when playing music. The volume control does not always work

Amazon LLC sells this product in two colors.

Black. And white.

I waited patiently.

Somehow I received PINK speakers! Which is amazing, when pink is not even a color option! What’s even more amazing, is that the item # on the box matched what I had ordered from Amazon! It made me wonder if everyone ordering white is receiving pink, but I’m probably just a lucky fluke.

I’m only slightly displeased. My new speakers will arrvive 2/1/08, the same item # again, hopefully I receive the white speakers pictured above that I had originally ordered, but… Amazon’s customer service was amazingly helpful and their return service is easy as well.

I do most of my shopping online, and I have never experienced faster easier to deal with customer support. Hopefully I’ll get white speakers this time!

5 Stars Philips ipod DVD player
I have owned this unit for almost two years, and never had any problems with it. I have a 5th generation 60 GB ipod, and it plays great in the Philips player. It is small enough to travel well, but the display is great viewing for two or three people. If you have an older ipod, and require a larger viewing screen for the movies, I recommend this player. It will also play DVD’s, Cd’s, and SD cards. Great to view pictures from my camera on a larger screen. I load up my ipod with movies and books and of course music and can entertain myself, kids, or grandkids for days. I will never leave home with out this….I LOVE it. Thanks Philips for such a great way to enjoy my ipod just a little bit more!

4 Stars Great Portable but no SDHC Support
We bought this product refurbished a little unsure about how it would turn out. So far it’s been a wonderful player. We love the swivel screen (something we didn’t know about before hand) that turns this player into a tablet style portable DVD player. We also love the fact that we can play videos on the iPod, DVD or an SD card. The only disappointment so far is the fact that this player won’t support SDHC cards. Pretty much anything over 4gbs isn’t useable. That would have been good to know before I invested in an 8gb SDHC card.

i like the fact that i can play most of my divx videos stored on cd and dvd data disks. i think the resolution is very good. and i like the ‘work-around’ for the newer ipods offered here by ‘technophile’ dec 22, 2007. smart guy.

i have been buying and using portable dvd players since they first came out at a cost $1000.00 or more. i always bought panasonic. i was given this phillips for free when i bought a phillips hdtv. i think phillips products are excellent. this is a nice little machine. i have an extended battery that i use with my portables from dynex that give it an additional 6 hours of battery life on top of the 2 you get with the machine for dvd viewing.

1 Star Disappointing – not for newer Ipods
I got this for Christmas. Went to make sure it worked with my Ipod before I left on a trip tomorrow. I could get sound but no picture. After making sure I went through the setup list TWICE I broke down and called Phillips. Come to find out, this machine is not compatatble with the newer Ipods because according to the tech support lady, Apple has locked the compatibality communication on the new Ipods and they do not “communicate” with this product. There is nothing to do except put it in the box and send it back. Sometimes Apple is a little too controlling…

NO WHERE ON THE BOX DOES IT TELL YOU THAT IT WILL ONLY PLAY THE OLDER IPODS . WE ONLY FOUND THIS OUT AFTER READING THE MANUAL INSIDE AND CALLING PHILLIPS. TALKED WITH TWO PHILLIPS CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS AND THEY BOTH BLAMED THE PROBLEM ON WAL-MART (WHERE WE PURCHASED THE ITEM), SAYING IT WAS UP TO THEM (AND US) TO OPEN THE BOX, BEFORE PURCHASING, AND FIND OUT THIS INFO. ON THE BOX IT SAYS “MADE FOR IPOD”. WE ASKED WHY THEY DID NOT PUT “ONLY WORKS WITH OLDER IPODS” AND THERE ANSWER STILL REMAINED THE SAME …..THE STORES FAULT!! NOW WE ARE PAST THE 15 DAY RETURN DATE AND ARE STUCK WITH A DVD PLAYER THAT WE PAYED EXTRA MONEY FOR.
