1 Star Case failed the 3rd time I took it off
I read several good reviews on this product and thought that it would work great for protecting my iPhone. I thought that it would help my daughter’s little hands hold on to the slippery phone while she played games or watched video. It was good for that. But, the third time that I took off the jacket one of the pieces that covers the ear hole in the phone ripped. I would expect this after putting it on and taking it off for several months, but not the third time. I can’t recommend this product.

5 Stars IPhone DLO Jam Jacket
This is a great product. I can carry my headset at all times. I don’t have to worry about searching for it. It would be nice if this case had a clip. I own 2 of these cases and would order another.

3 Stars good idea
This case is a good practical idea but the ear buds do not fit snuggly and keep popping out, the ringer button keeps switching to mute without me setting it there. Protection wise, I think it’s great but practicallity it’s not perfect.

3 Stars could be better
The one very annoying problem with this jacket is it somehow presses the mute button while talking. Other than that it is ok.

2 Stars Design flaws
At first I really dug this case. It’s got the holder for the ear phones, it’s got a good grip so that it doesn’t slip out of pockets and such but as time went on I found the case very frustrating. I noticed that I was having problems with my cheek setting off buttons while on calls. I thought it was a phone flaw but when I took the phone into Apple they actually said it was the case. Because the case covers the top portion of the phone near the light sensors as the case loses it’s elasticity that sensor gets covered and the phone doesn’t realize it’s up to your ear and the screen doesn’t lock.

So…kuddos for the headphone holder but a pain in terms of phone usage.

3 Stars Does the job, but some issues….
Ok, this thing does the job of adding a microphone to expensive headphones/earphones… however, it makes my cord REALLY long with the extra extension so that I have wires running all over my chest in order to keep the microphone up. Also, there is the occasional glitch where the iPhone tells me that the extension cord was not compatible and I get audio issues when listening to music or podcasts. If I didn’t have this extension I could still talk with earphones in by holding the phone closer or just putting on the speaker-phone option. So…weigh those options before you decide to buy this.

1 Star I loved it when it was working for a week…
It was great when I first got it. I was so excited by the sound quality and the functionality, I ordered a 2nd pair for my wife. Now after one week, and before my 2nd pair is here (too late to cancel it now…), the mic stopped working. Whatever I say gets chopped up and only half of what I say actually come out. I used it only for 5 long conference calls and never carried it around so it must be the initial build quality issue. I will see if my 2nd pair will also stop working after a week and report back here.

1 Star Worst Ever
I had 3 of these already, and all 3 of them broke on me.

2 of them stopped giving sound to my left ear.

1 of them made the sound static.

I bought 2 originally for myself and my brother.

Less than a week from purchasing them, mine stopped working… So I returned it, got another one.

All within one month… THEY ALL STOPPED WORKING! This was among the worst products I have ever used.

2 Stars Good until it broke
I read several reviews of the products available to adapt my regular Sennheiser earbuds for use with the iPhone and eventually, despite some bad reviews (i.e. it breaks after a month or so), settled on the Griffin SmartTalk. It worked well, and the extra headphone length that the product creates was actually a good thing for using the phone at the gym or under a jacket. However, after about a month of using it, the left headphone connection became static-y and/or cut out unless the phone was just-so in my pocket. Then, about 3 weeks later, both headphones cut out completely. I assume that the connection between the wire in the nylon and the jack broke since, by twisting and pressing, I could sometimes get a very faint connection. Basically, do not waste your money on this product unless you want to have to return it after a month or two.

4 Stars Sounds are High Pitched
These headphones are great for talking but not for listening to music. Music sounds awfully high pitched even when attempting to use an EQ to normalize.

4 Stars Great earbuds! Tangle free and stay in your ears!
These are the best pair of earbuds I have found for the money.

The fabric covered wire is great. It feels good, and most importantly seems to almost eliminate the dreaded tangle.

The actual earbuds are very small, there is nothing sticking out of my ears when they are in. Great when wearing a hat. They are comfortable, and stay put even when mountain biking.

My only criticisms are:

-the mic button is a bit small, and can be hard to find by feel.

-the mic/button is bigger than apples but about 2x.

-the strain relief at the plud is almost non-existant, and the fabric sheath is starting to open a bit there.

Fix those, and this would be a five star product. Otherwise you can’t get better for your money.

1 Star lasted about 3 months
Yeah, just like others have said I got about 3 months of use from this (using probably 3-4 times a week) before the cord at the plug-end frayed and I lost sound in the ear/mic. Maybe they’d be okay if the first thing you do after buying them is to wrap a bunch of duct tape around the cord/plug connection .

4 Stars HeadSets
The Product is so good the quality is fine Don’t use it while in Gym sweat get it destroyed.

4 Stars Great product for the price!
These headphones are much better than the apple version and are much more affordable! They fit better in the ear since they come with different size ear pieces (and don’t fall out) and they even have more options than the apple earphones–can go back a song as well as go forward.

I gave it a 4 since when you speak with them on, you echo in your head. This can be annoying and I’m sure it is because they fit so snuggly inside the ear.

Otherwise, great purchase!

1 Star Headphones fell apart, would buy better quality next time
“I wish I had four arms so I could give these headphones four thumbs down.”

Call sound quality and fit was acceptable (as to be expected for the price point) until these fell apart in my backpack.

The actual front part of one of the earbuds became unglued from the speaker portion. I haven’t bothered with them since. I would spend a few bucks extra for good music sound quality, a button that works properly, and most importantly – earbuds that don’t fall apart.

man, these headphones were a waste of time. the sound quality is decent, but the earbuds don’t fit in your ear, so it is literally impossible to use them, unless you hold them in your ear, but then hey! youre not hands free anymore.

Absolute piece of crap. The sound coming and going is utterly unacceptable. Cheap? Yes! In every way! I gave it one star only because it was not possible to give it no stars!

1 Star poor quality
The headphones were extremely poor quality; very tinny and not even worth using. The mic just made some clicking noise and didn’t even work. The good news: the vendor I bought them from Eforcity was great! They promptly returned my money after I shipped them back. After that I decided to go to the Apple Store and get the headphones with the mic and…. they are AMAZING! The headphones are the same as the standard headphones but the mic is great. When I use them with Skype people are amazed at how well the sound is picked up. Do yourself a favor and go to the Apple Store.

1 Star Basically garbage
Bought 3 on a co-worker’s recommendation. Two didn’t work for more than 10 minutes (one never, one shorted out within a day). The microphone pulled loose on the third one with 3 weeks. Too cheap to bother returning, but I’d never buy these again.
